Potter

I just had a craft fair and there was a good response to my craft, sold quite a few things and enjoyed doing it with my daughter Beth. I have several more craft fairs lined up for November and December but the November ones are not confirmed. I'm at the Wildwood Christian School Craft Fair Dec. 1 and the Taftville Cong. Church on Dec. 2. I've been gravitationg towards making more sets of things, bowls small, medium and large as well as sugar and creamer sets. After expirementing with different glaze colors I find myself heading more toward the natural warm browns and ambers. It is always neat to see as you gain more experience the pieces change and sort of morph into a style of your own rather than copying ideas from other sources.

Hello

Hello
My name is Elizabeth Jancewicz [link] and I am the daughter of Norma Jean, the founder of Star Creek Pottery. I am helping her set up a deviantART account by photographing her work and submitting it. She has a pottery studio in the basement, complete with wheel and kiln, and she has been doing pottery seriously for about a year now. I would appreciate it if other potters would help her out while she is around deviantART. Her mai n goal is to sell her work, which she does so by attending craft and art shows. She would also like to begin selling things on-line, so as I update with more pieces she will probably be editing the pieces information with the price, or if it has sold already. Please feel free to inquire about any piece you see here, and thank you for making her feel welcome.
